Open Ocean has developed an innovative methodology to compute extreme values associated with hurricanes

At the  Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) which took place in Houston in early May, Jerome Cuny, CEO of  Open Ocean, presented a paper entitled “Innovative methodology to compute extreme values associated with hurricanes”.

The presentation was a success and Open Ocean had the opportunity to expose to the public how this new methodology can improve the accuracy of extreme value analysis through a regional analysis that increases the hurricane impact sample size.
This new approach surely can help your company with your offshore project, since it can be used at any site affected by super storms (hurricanes, typhoons,...)
If you want to know more about this methodology and how you can apply it on your offshore project, please contact us and ask for more information.
