Open Ocean to present a paper at OTC 2017: Innovative methodology to compute extreme values associated with hurricanes

On May 2nd, 2017, Open Ocean’s CEO, Jerome Cuny will be representing Open Ocean at OTC 2017 in Houston, presenting a paper entitled “Innovative methodology to compute extreme values associated with hurricanes”. 

The Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) is where energy professionals meet to exchange ideas and opinions to advance scientific and technical knowledge for offshore resource and environmental matters. OTC will take place in Houston on May 1-4th.

Jerome Cuny, Open Ocean’s CEO, will present a paper entitled “Innovative methodology to compute extreme values associated with hurricanes”

Open Ocean has developed a new methodology to improve the accuracy of extreme value analysis through a regional analysis that increases the hurricane impact sample size.
