Atlantis Resources and DP Energy to Work Together in Nova Scotia

Atlantis Resources Ltd has announced a joint venture partnership with Irish tidal energy developer DP Energy group. Both companies signed an agreement to work together to develop a multi-turbine array at the fully commissioned Fundy Ocean Research Center for Energy (FORCE) facility in the Bay of Fundy, Nova Scotia, Canada. 

DP Energy has entered a sale and purchase agreement with Atlantis Resources to acquire 50% stake in Atlantis's subsidiary Atlantis Operations Canada Ltd.  This agreement would enable DP Energy to take an active role in Atlantis Operations Canada Ltd, which currently holds the lease for the Fundy Ocean Research Centre for Energy
Director of DP Energy, Simon De Pietro said ‘’DP Energy is delighted to partner with Atlantis on this project in support of the Nova Scotia government initiative to promote and demonstrate the potential for the use of tidal energy as a major source of renewable electricity production globally.”
Talking about this agreement, Tim Cornelius, CEO of Atlantis, said “We are always aiming to create value for our shareholders through working with the right partners in technology and project development, and look forward to the contribution that the DP Energy group has to offer to our Canadian operations.”
